Rules

The site's rules in plain words, all in one place. This is a summary. The full, binding version is always the Terms.

Buying a slot

  • Prices only rise as slots sell. They never come back down. No discounts, to anyone.
  • Your number sets your price, not your date. The one exception is No. 20, which is always last.
  • Taking a number holds it for 4 minutes while you fill in checkout. Then it's held for 30 minutes from the moment you reach payment. Nothing else reserves it.
  • The slot is confirmed only once payment clears.
  • Your office must be in the Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and the Selangor towns around them, up to Rawang). Seremban and Nilai are outside it. If yours isn't in it, the visit can't happen and there's no refund.
  • No refunds, except as set out in the Terms.
  • On No. 1–19, the @jenjen_jengg Instagram collab isn't included. It's a RM3,800 add-on, offered once, at checkout, and can't be added afterwards.
  • No vape, gambling, illegal money games or lending, cigarettes, or any illegal business. Alcohol is fine.
  • I can also decline or cancel at my discretion if I judge the content would be unsuitable. Where that's not your fault, you're refunded in full.

The video

  • It comes out about a week after I visit.
  • You see it before it goes up. The only change I'll make is a factual correction about your company or campaign. The rest is my call.
  • Every post says #Ad. It's the law, and it's not negotiable.
  • I own the content. You get a licence to re-share it unaltered, with the disclosure intact, for a set period (see the Terms).
  • I don't guarantee any level of views, reach or clicks. The numbers on the board are historical, not a forecast.
  • Your name and logo stay on the board for good, even after the campaign ends.

Booking your session

  • Once payment clears, I email you a private booking link. You pick any open date yourself, at 9am or 2pm.
  • You must book within 14 days. A reminder goes out on day 7, 11 and 13. Miss day 14 and the slot is forfeited, with no refund.
  • Once booked, a date can be changed once, with at least 7 working days' notice, subject to availability.
  • You give me and any crew safe access, and written permission to film. You're responsible for consent from anyone on your premises who appears on camera.
  • No. 20, the Finale, doesn't book here. Its lunch is arranged directly, for 2027.

The petition wall

  • It's free and non-binding. A wish names a company. It puts no obligation on me to visit anyone.
  • Every submission is reviewed by a person before it appears on the wall. Until then, only people with its link can see it. They see the company name and the signatures, not the wish, and they can sign it there.
  • Wishes are published as submitted by members of the public. They're not statements of fact. No company listed has anything to do with this campaign unless it says so.
  • A wish goes on the wall once a person reviews and approves it. Signatures don't decide that. Reaching 5 signatures unlocks a “Message for your boss” share button on it, nothing more.
  • Any company can have its entry removed by emailing hello(@)eatatyouroffice.com. I take it down within 24 hours, no questions asked.

The Finale (No. 20)

  • It opens only once Nos. 1–19 have sold.
  • This is an invitation to submit offers, not an auction. Submitting one creates no contract. The highest offer isn't guaranteed to win. Nothing binds until it's accepted in writing.
  • An offer only counts once you confirm it from the link I email you. Offers close 7 days after No. 19 sells.
  • If your offer isn't accepted, you pay nothing.
  • If I accept your offer, I email you. You then have 48 hours to pay.
  • You're buying a slot, not making a donation. Where No. 20 sells, I donate half of what I receive for it (after the payment processor's fees, nothing else) to OrphanCare Foundation and/or other registered children's charities named on this site before offers close. I publish the receipt on this site.

This page restates what's already said elsewhere on the site, for a quick read. Where anything here and the Terms disagree, the Terms are what apply.
